Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Musui handles information when you use the iOS app. The app is designed to work locally and does not require an account.
Audio and Records You Create
When you choose to record a sound, the app uses microphone access to create an audio file. Titles, notes, categories, favorites, waveform samples, and sound-classification results associated with that recording are stored on your device.
Musui does not operate an upload or cloud-sync service. Your recordings and library records are not sent to us.
On-Device Sound Analysis
The app uses Apple's Sound Analysis framework to generate sound labels and confidence estimates on your device. We do not use your audio or classification results to train models or for advertising.
Basic Operating Information
The app may rely on information provided by iOS, such as microphone permission status, solely to operate requested features. We do not include analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party profiling tools.
Storage and Retention
Audio and library records remain on your device until you delete individual items, erase the local library, or remove the app. Device backups and operating-system retention are controlled by your Apple and device settings.
Your Choices
You can deny or revoke microphone access in iOS Settings. You can also delete saved sounds or erase the local library from within the app.
Platform Services
Your use of the App Store, iOS, device backups, and other Apple services is governed by Apple's terms and privacy practices. We do not control those services.
Security
Local processing limits transmission of your content, but no device or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device and review recordings before sharing them outside the app.
Children's Privacy
Musui is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age required for independent consent in their region.
